Thinking about getting involved?

We get it: joining an activist group can feel intimidating. Many people worry that they don’t know enough, haven’t done this before, or won’t know where they fit in. Those feelings are normal.

DACAC, the Denver-Aurora Community Action Committee, is a group of people committed to fighting back against police brutality and a crooked justice system - together. You don’t need to have all the answers; you just need to care and be willing to stand up for what’s right.

This is a space built on compassion, accountability, and shared purpose. You’ll meet people who listen, support one another, and believe that real change only happens when communities organize and speak up.

Whether you’re brand new to activism or have been doing this work for years, there is space for you in DACAC. Being part of this community has a way of changing you: your perspective grows, your confidence strengthens, and you begin to see your own power in challenging systems that rely on silence and fear.
